I am not a big fan of Guitar Hero, but after watching this clip, I must say, this guy did one awesome and clever job of decorating his home for Christmas. Enjoy…
I needed a good laugh…
The news of the day is begining to really depress me. There is so much evil going on in the world today and so much impending doom lurking over the horizon that I feel the need to dampen my frustrations with a little humor. That’s why I like to break up the rantings here with content that makes me LMAO.
As I was enjoying some holiday cheer by watching old Christmas song videos, I came across something that made me laugh so hard to the point of tears and knew I needed to share it with you all. It’s an old clip of The Johnny Carson Show from 1969 with Bob Hope, Dean Martin, George Gobel and others. Those were the good old days of entertainment. Guests smoked and drank right on the set and the comedy was damned good – almost innocent, but mischievous in nature. Today, comedy has devolved into bathroom humor replete with expletives and sexuality. It sure would be nice if we could return to simpler times.
Just a note: Be sure and watch the second clip. It’s even funnier than the first.

Today’s Good Samaritan LMAO…

Horror Movie Scene Prompts Police Response
WCCO/CBS News
Dec 3, 2009 2:19 pm US/CentralCOLOMA, Calif. (CBS) – Bloodcurdling screams and a violent attack caused a Coloma resident to call authorities, but when police arrived on the scene, they discovered the disturbance was just the filming of a horror movie, CBS station KOVR-TV reported.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office sent at least eight units to the Coloma Club off Highway 49 early Wednesday morning after receiving a 911 call reporting that a woman was being dragged through the parking lot.
“They were alarmed, certainly, when they showed up,” said Josh Cumby.
The situation was defused quickly when authorities found out that it was just actress Ann Hensen and a movie crew filming a scene where she was being dragged away by the living dead…

Hollywood Conservatives Say Gore Should Lose Oscar Over Climate-Gate
Updated December 04, 2009
FOX NewsTwo conservative screenwriters say Al Gore should be stripped of his Oscar in light of the global warming questions raised by leaked e-mails out of a British research center.
Just days ahead of an international climate change conference, global warming guru and former Vice President Al Gore has been hit by an inconvenient scandal — one that’s reverberated all the way back to Hollywood.
Two conservative screenwriters say Gore should be stripped of his Oscar in light of the global warming questions raised by leaked e-mails out of a British research center.
The former vice president earned the Oscar in 2007 for his climate change manifesto “An Inconvenient Truth.” He later went on to earn a Nobel Peace Prize and become one of the world’s leading authorities on global warming.
But Roger Simon and Lionel Chetwynd, both members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, put out a statement Thursday calling for the Academy to take it all back in light of the controversy skeptics have dubbed Climate-Gate.
“I personally call for the Academy to rescind this Oscar,” Simon said. “In the history of the Academy … not to my knowledge has an Oscar ever been rescinded. … I think they should rescind this one.”
Though their demand will almost certainly not be met, it marks the latest effort by conservatives to draw attention to the controversy in the run-up to an international climate change conference next week in Copenhagen — where Gore just canceled a lecture he was supposed to deliver…
*snip*
You folks know damned well he will never give up his Oscar anymore willingly than he would be prepared to give up his crusade against free market capitalism by means of junk science.

Christmas Music of Yesteryear

Christmas music isn’t what it used to be. Most of the crap out there today just doesn’t have the same feel as it used to. Everybody is trying to put a progressive spin on traditional Christmas tunes that have warmed our hearts for decades and as a result, it makes a great holiday feel miserable. Nothing beats the oldies when it comes to Christmas music. So this year, since I incorporated the MoFiZiX MuZiX Jukebox, I felt the need to bring back some of that old time happiness by showcasing a collection of Christmas songs dear to everyone’s heart. It features the masters of holiday spirit and good cheer like Sinatra, Crosby, Doris Day, Cole, and others. I also threw in a few of the more recent artists whom I felt made positive contributions to the Christmas music genre. I also put the music to a slideshow collection of Christmas and winter artwork for visual effect. I do hope you all enjoy the show. It’s still a work in progress as I am hoping to add more before Christmas day. It also took forever to coordinate and took hours away from helping Mamma around the house (sure hope I don’t get coal in my stocking because of it). Just click on the trumpet playing Santa to get started.

Navigating with a Brokeback Compass

Every Christmas season brings a renewed conflict over the celebration of Christ’s birth and Christianity in general. Every year we hear intensified caterwauling by PC liberals, atheists, agnostics, pagans and satanists seeking to eliminate any mention or symbol of Christmas from public view. Over the past decade, there also appears to have been a concentrated effort by Hollywood to trash the holiday season by releasing films that make a mockery of Christmas and denigrate the Christian faith. With the weekend release of “The Golden Compass,” this year is no exception and the marketing techniques are in fact more insidious than any previous year.
For months we knew it was coming. It was being heralded as an exciting new film made in the tradition of “Lord of the Rings” and “Narnia” when in fact it was produce as an antithesis to those Christian based fictional masterpieces. “The Golden Compass” is based on Philip Pullman’s children’s book series called “His Dark Materials.” Pullman is a militant atheist seeking to indoctrinate the masses by sneaking this film in under the radar during the Christmas season. The Catholic League found out about the movie’s production and immediately sounded the alarm. In an effort to warn the unsuspecting public about the motives behind the movie, they released a booklet exposing Pullman and his works. Go HERE to read it in PDF format.
When word got out about the truth behind the movie, the producers of the film fought back by hiring a team of highly trained spinsters to promote the film and the editors made an effort to “sanitize” the film’s content prior to release so as not to overtly offend religious viewers. The MSM also offered their assistance in hyping the film’s release. They even went so far as to lobby for and received an endorsement from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). With the endorsement in hand, the spinsters then attempted to market the film with the USCCB seal of approval. Obviously, it wasn’t enough. By the time the film opened last Friday, word reached enough people to ensure the film suffered a weak opening.
After the dust settled on Monday morning and the weekend totals came in, the MSM continued to push the hype, insisting that despite rumors to the contrary, the USCCB DID in fact endorse the film…
CORRECTION: “Golden Compass” disappoints at box office
Sun Dec 9, 2007 1:58pm EST(Corrects paragraph 9 in Dec. 8 story to make clear that U.S. Conference of Bishops endorsed the movie, and did not oppose it)
By Dean Goodman
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – “The Golden Compass,” a costly fantasy starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, got off to a slow start at the North American box office and will likely fall short of opening-weekend expectations.
New Line Cinema’s $180 million film sold an estimated $8.8 million worth of tickets during its first day in theaters on Friday, according to data issued on Saturday by tracking firm Box Office Mojo (www.boxofficemojo.com).
After Saturday and Sunday sales are factored in, the film will come in at No. 1 with about $28 million when the studios issue their weekend estimates on Sunday, said Paul Dergarabedian at Media By Numbers, another tracking firm.
New Line, a struggling Time Warner Inc unit hoping to launch another franchise along the lines of its blockbuster “Lord of the Rings” series, said last week it was hoping the film would open to between $30 million and $40 million.
“It’s below expectations, but it’s not an out-and-out debacle,” said Dergarabedian.
Conspiring against the movie, he said, were such factors as a soft marketplace and unrealistic expectations for an epic fantasy filling the holiday void left by the “Narnia” and “Lord of the Rings” smashes.
A New Line executive did not return a call seeking comment.
Based on the first book in British author Philip Pullman’s acclaimed children’s series “His Dark Materials,” writer/director Chris Weitz’s film is set in an alternate world ruled by an oppressive religious authority. It features talking animals and a heroine played by youngster Dakota Blue Richards.
Even though the film downplays the religious aspect, it has been savaged by the Catholic League, a New York group that promotes religious and civil rights. Opponents said the book on which the movie is based gave an unflattering portrayal of the church and specifically the Catholic faith.
But the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops described the movie as “an exciting adventure story with a traditional struggle between good and evil.”

For a while there even I was fooled into believing this half truth. When I dug a little deeper, I found out something very, very interesting…
US Bishops asked to Fire Chief Film Critic over Glowing Reviews for “Brokeback” and “Compass”
“Bishops horrified at what has been done in their name”By John-Henry Westen
WASHINGTON, DC, December 3, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Bishops of the United States are being asked to fire the chief movie reviewer for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Harry Forbes, the Director of the USCCB Office for Film and Broadcasting, has reignited scandal by praising the film “The Golden Compass” which is based on an anti-Catholic novel.
Forbes caused similar controversy two years ago when he issued a glowing review in the name of the USCCB for the homosexual propaganda film “Brokeback Mountain”.
Pete Vere, who has a written book on the author of The Golden Compass, spoke with LifeSiteNews.com about the USCCB review. “Several bishops have spoken to me about this review and they are horrified at what has been done in their name,” Vere told LifeSiteNews.com. “Certainly the USCCB has to revisit its rules for issuing movie reviews.” Vere’s book co-authored by Sandra Miesel, Pied Piper of Atheism: Philip Pullman and Children’s Fantasy, is to be released by Ignatius Press before Christmas.
Fr. Tom Euteneuer, the President of Human Life International, has called on the US Bishops to fire Forbes and his subordinate John Mulderig who co-authored the review of The Golden Compass. The HLI leader was incredulous that the USCCB review could recommend the film for children despite the fact that it admits the film has “occult elements” and carries a “sprit of rebellion”.
“The fact that these gentlemen could recommend this movie to children is just abhorrent to me. I really do believe these guys should be fired,” Fr. Eueneuer told LifeSiteNews.com. “Whatever happened to rejecting Satan and all his empty work and empty promises.”
The USCCB review notes the great artistry of the film, but such is no reason to approve of it warned Fr. Euteneuer who has taken part in exorcisms. “St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 11 that the devil comes dressed as an angel of light. And this is very clearly what is happening. They have taken an atheistic work and dressed it up as something good for kids.”
Noting Forbes’ former scandalous positive review of Brokeback Mountain, Fr. Euteneuer said, “The fact (the USCCB) didn’t fire him at that time is what leads to this kind of thing. When you don’t rebuke irresponsibility in using an office to spread errors then it leads to more irresponsibility.”
In a rare move, the US Catholic League last week publicly slammed the USCCB Golden Compass review in exclusive comments to LifeSiteNews.com (see: http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/nov/07113001.html)
*snip*
Although I am thoroughly disgusted with the deceit of the MSM and those marketing this atheistic crap to our children, I am equally – if not more so – appalled by the lack of action from the USCCB in addressing this outrageous apostasy within its own folds. Not surprisingly, this is just another example of the ineptitude shown by these so-called leaders of the faith; the same group responsible for the shell game that shuffled homosexual and pedophile priests around the country in order to cover up the devil’s infiltration of the Catholic Church. It just goes to show that when you navigate with a Brokeback Compass, you inevitably lead others down the prim-rose path to hell.

I’ve lost my childhood hero :(

Growing up in the 70’s was, for the most part, a real drag. Disco sucked, TV shows were as plastic as the polyester outfits folks wore back then, politicians were destroying the country and caused us to loose the war in Vietnam, LBJ’s Great Society doomed us to decades of socialism, Nixon was too busy kissing communist China’s ass, Ford didn’t seam able to get anything accomplished due to a Democrat controlled congress, Carter caused taxes and gasoline to shoot up through the roof, NASA couldn’t hold the space program together, and Muslims were begining to make a habit of hijacking jet liners and using terror to achieve their political goals. For me, the only things worth remembering from the 70’s were muscle cars, rock and roll, and Evel Knievel.
Every time that guy pulled off a crazy stunt, we all sat glued to the edge of our seats praying for him to make it without killing himself and every time, although he didn’t always make it safely to the other side of the jump, he lived to do it again another day (sometimes after months of healing and physical rehabilitation). Even after our 200th birthday party celebration ended, after we morned Elvis’ death and after we prayed for the return of our loved ones taken hostage in Iran, we still had the amazing death defying stunts of Evel Knievel. In a big, big way, he represented and symbolized the bold determination of our country to weather the worst of times, get back on our feet, brush ourselves off and continue our fight to be the best that we can be and not be held back by our fears.

A Mesage for Brian DePalma

DE PALMA IRAQ FLICK BOMBS
Richard Johnson
Page Six – New York Post
November 25, 2007IT’S hard for Hollywood pacifists like Brian De Palma to capture the hearts and minds of America if Americans won’t see their movies. While the public is staying away in droves from “Rendition,” “Lions for Lambs” and “In the Valley of Elah,” audiences are really avoiding “Redacted,” De Palma’s picture about US soldiers who rape a 14-year-old Iraqi girl, then kill her and her family. The message movie was produced by NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who insisted on deleting grisly images of Iraqi war casualties from the montage at the film’s end. Cuban offered to sell the film back to De Palma at cost, but the director was too smart to go for that deal. “Redacted” – which “could be the worst movie I’ve ever seen,” said critic Michael Medved -took in just $25,628 in its opening weekend in 15 theaters, which means roughly 3,000 people saw it in the entire country. “This, despite an A-list director, a huge wave of publicity, high praise in the Times, The New Yorker, left-leaning sites like Salon, etc. A Joe Strummer documentary [of punk-rock band The Clash] playing in fewer theaters made more in its third week,” e-mailed one cineaste. “Not even people who presumably agree with the movie’s antiwar thesis made the effort to see it.”
As per yesterday’s statement, I stand corrected… there really is good substantive news out there after all! ‘magine that!

Wrath of God?

First off, let me say that my prayers go out to all affected by the vicious wildfires ravaging SoCal. Fire is non-discriminatory, knows no social boundaries and one cannot help but feel great sadness for those affected by loss of property and life. My good friend and hero from the left coast, Claire (a.k.a. e-Claire from e-biscuit.com) lives in California and although I believe she lives well north of the fires, I do hope her and her family are ok. I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to her :(
With that said, I must say that after watching the reports on the fires sweeping through Malibu, it struck me as a little disturbing, hearing all the concern over the homes and properties of the rich and famous folks living there. I mean, the reporting by the mainstream media seems so focused on the efforts by firefighters to save these multi-million dollar estates and IMO, very little attention appears to be directed towards the average folks loosing everything they worked so hard for their entire lives. Now don’t get me wrong here; I’m not looking at this situation in terms of class envy, but all I keep hearing is this litany of how it is so sad that Hollywood’s most affluent are suffering at the hands of mother nature’s wrath and how brave firefighters are struggling to their limits to save these pricey posh digs.
As I was hearing about the destruction laid in the wake of the fire’s path and watching these reporters appearing so distraught over the possibility of these mansions being reduced to cinders, the first thing that came to mind was God’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah – sorry folks, that’s just what I thought of. With all the crap being sold to us these days by Hollywood liberals and wealthy know-it-all hypocrites, combined with the daily moonbattery exhibited by the socialist libtards, atheistic humanists and leftist politicians in that state (Schwarzenegger included), part of me has to wonder if the Good Lord has a hand in this. No, on second thought, I take that back. I know He has a hand in this. Once again, don’t get me wrong here, bad things happen to good folks every day (I’m living proof of that), but fire has long been know as a primary form of God’s purification of man for man’s wickedness in society.
Regardless of who is affected by this hell on on earth, I do pray for them. Quite frankly, you would be very surprised if you knew those who I’ve prayed for over the years. My point in telling you all this is to make you aware that purification through fire is also a time for rebirth. I firmly believe this to be true in regard to ALL natural and even some man made disasters. Perhaps I just see it as God’s way of reminding us of our mortality, how vulnerable we truly are and how we are always and continually at His mercy.

Innocence for Sale

After hearing about the pig-on-parade performance by Britney Spears last night at the MTV Music Awards, I couldn’t help but feel sorrow for this obviously miserable human being. For the past several years, this girl has been the a prime target for many who just love to heap mountains of criticism on her. Don’t get me wrong here, most of it has been very well deserved. It’s just that if you look at her today and read about all of the self made misery she has in her life, you just can’t help but wonder what drove an innocent young girl from a southern Baptist community to become the pop music industry’s poster child for out of control moral depravity.
As a child, Britney was a talented gymnast in state competitions, a performer in local dance revues and a singer in her local Baptist church choir. At eight years old, she tried out for Disney’s “The New Micky Mouse Club” and after studying performing arts in NYC, she eventually made it on the show. A few years later she was signed on by a record company and began her moral downward slide. Once she turned eighteen, she became instant fodder for millions of horny males spending hours on line wacking off to photos of her in numerous sexually provocative poses. If I remember correctly, she was even reported once as being the most Googled name on the internet. The racier she posed, the more attention she got. The more attention she got, the more money she and her keepers made. Quite literally, she became a multimedia whore.
This is by no means a unique story. On the contrary, this allure of rising to fame and fortune seems to be the result of typical baiting tactics used by the entertainment industry. Record companies pimp these young starlets onto the emerging generations hoping to reap millions in profits and keep fresh talent fueling their genre of perversion through music videos, teen magazines and television programing that pushes the envelope on FCC regulation on a daily basis.
Now, it must be said that by no means am I claiming to be some virgin eared, doctor of morality. Quite the opposite. When I was in high school, I got into some seriously satanic music and then I got involved in the punk rock scene. Eventually I grew up after some hard knocks but never have I ever seen so mush focus on sexuality from the entertainment industry. Where the punk scene was all about in-your-face anger, the pop scene is all about in-your-face SEX… and lots of it! As a parent of four with two being very young and impressionable girls, I am genuinely concerned and apprehensive about what kind of sleaze influences their lives – REASON #1,536 FOR HOMESCHOOLING :)
The result of years of marketing this in-your-face sex to our kids has become more and more evident as we see a sharp increase in the number of statutory rapes, child abductions, sexual assaults, and child pornography. Every time I see little school girls (not just high school kids) dressed like prostitutes, I can’t help but think about where they learned to show such little respect for themselves. Yes, I blame the Britney Spears of the world, but even-more-so I blame the industry that corrupted their souls and bread them for sexual entertainment in the first place… all for the almighty dollar.
At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven. And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.
But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. (Matthew 18:1-6 Douay-Rheims)

Mo Betta Muzik
In keeping up with the recent internet trend of merging multimedia into the realm of the blogosphere, I’ve decided to make a new addition to MoFiZiX Gr4FiX.

As of yesterday, I now feature a bunch of tunes I’ve purchased legally and showcased them in a Shockwave player playlist located at the bottom of the website. I would have put it on the side bar, but considering the amount of information offered by the player’s script, I opted to place it down below so as to give the listener a clear visual of what some of my favorite songs are and the albums they come from.
My current favorite genre for at least the past several years has been Country music. It brings out my patriotic love for what’s good and right in our nation. It also appeals to my roots and my upbringing in what used to be a close knit farming community. My folks were produce farmers in the well know Black Dirt region (onion country) in western Orange County, New York (approx. 2hrs NW of NYC). I now live about half an hour away in Montgomery, New York, home to the world famous Orange County Choppers …but that’s a subject better left for another time.
In addition to Country, I also like some of just about everything else except that I cannot tolerate Rap, Hip-Hop, Disco and/or Urban Beat. As I learn more about how to categorize the playlists for the Shockwave player, I’ll expand my collection. Looking at the current selection you might be a little surprised to find one song that stands out from the rest. It’s been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and saw it played in an old cartoon. The song was originally done Al Jolson and Cab Calloway in early 1936 in the movie “The Singing Kid” and later that year was adapted to cartoon by the famous “Merrie Melodies” director Tex Avery.
The cartoon capitalized on what was already a hugely successful song at the time and also wove together with it a storyline loosely based on Jolson’s famous movie “The Jazz Singer” which just so happened to be a storyline loosely based on Al Jolson’s struggle and rise to fame itself. It’s quite an interesting piece of history and if it wasn’t for the racist segregationist D.W. Griffith’s box office smash “Rise of a Nation” twenty years earlier which helped birthed the black rights movement known as the NAACP, there might exist more public respect and admiration today for what was then the earth shattering talent of the great black-faced minstrel Al Jolson. Here first is the cartoon I so loved so much growing up and below that is a clip from the original motion picture “The Singing Kid”. Enjoy!

The Chinese Plan to Save Sheryl Crow

With all the poopla over Sheryl Crow’s decision to stop using toilet paper for fear of harming the environment, many have taken unfair advantage of the situation to heap shit loads of criticism on the struggling musician not just for her new habit of wiping her ass with her bare hands, but also for wanting to clean them off on the tuxedo of George Bush’s closest political adviser, Karl Rove.
Perhaps it has nothing to do with “saving the environment,” but instead it may be possible that the activist entertainer is finding it too expensive for her to afford such a costly extravagance, given the recent increase of folks longing to hear her contemptuous caterwaul and opting to download her music instead of spending money to buy her albums – which in a way is understandable since college know-it-all hippies don’t have any money to begin with. One must realize that she is in dire straits with all the other more important necessities for her survival such as the three tractor trailers, four buses, and six cars needed to travel around the states so as to pontificate and defecate about the pending doom of global warming.
Believing that Ms. Crow’s hygiene problem is truly a concern for the wellbeing of the troubled environment, the Communist Chinese have come up with a solution to help her cover her ass with regards to her green fan base. By extracting the fiber content of panda poop, the Chicoms are capable of manufacturing toilet paper capable of handling even the biggest load of bullshit spewed forth by environmental wack-jobs like Sheryl Crow and possibly even the Pope of Greenies, Algore himself.
