This morning I awoke to a dilemma. It appears that one of my all time favorite conservatives has decided to, once again, enter the race for Republican Presidential Nominee. Alan Keyes, former Ambassador to the U.N. under Ronaldus Maximus, has long been a champion of conservative principles, is a man of great tenure and would undoubtedly make one of the most remarkable presidents our country has ever know. IMO, his conservative stand on the issues dwarf all other candidates for president, including Fred Thompson… hence, my dilemma.
As I mull the difficult decision over in my head as to who I will support for the Republican Presidential Nomination, there is only one issue that stands apart from all others. The problem is not so much in who I feel will best represent my values in the office, but who will be the most viable candidate to defeat the Democrat contender in 2008. After careful though, I must wait and see how effective these two candidates are in their campaigning, poling and fund raising. Time will tell and whomever the victor is, will be the one to whom I will pledge my full support.

Hey Mo,
Damn, You’re “on” lately ! Alan Keyes is wonderful. He raises many good points that some of the others just wouldn’t touch. He’d make a great vp (IMHO). I just don’t think he could pull enough people out to vote by himself.
I share your frustration with W, medicine, Iran and Imadinnerjacket, and free immigration.
Common sense isn’t so common anymore !

Heeeeeey, VP… I didn’t even think of that one! You’re absolutely right, Iteki. Excellent idea! Looks like common sense isn’t so uncommon after all.
